Gems Hotel

I had already been to the Gems many years ago. The spaces are always comfortable and welcoming. The staff is very kind and helpful. The staff gave me a free upgrade from a standard room to a suite. The Gems is one of the few hotels in Beirut that still offers breakfast included. It is not a breakfast like that of some years ago but considering the period that Lebanon is going through I appreciate the effort to maintain the service. The same goes for the attention to detail in the room. Overall a great experience. Hamra always the best area to stay central in the city and reach any service. Thanks to the staff. See you soon.

The location: close to restaurants, and supermarkets, easy to get to the airport. Staff are excellent, and the room upgrade is a plus.

I arrived in the morning, but not only did the nice staff give me an early check in, I also got a nice upgrade. The room was superb. With the hotel being in a central location between busy Hamra Street, the Pigeon rocks and the corniche I had a great location for exploring the central parts of the city on foot. I was really pleased with the hotel and will probably stay there again when I go back to Beirut.

Exceptional stay! I was looking for a place to stay in the heart of Beirut, walking distance to AUB and Hamra, and easy access to other places. The staff went above and beyond for my comfort, and bonus points for having an underground parking! Clean, safe and accommodating.

Our room was upgraded to a beautiful suite. The staff is friendly, the bed is very comfortable. Everything was almost perfect.
